Erland is the principle of Bassoe Offshore AS and has over three decades of knowledge and experience within the offshore oil services industry.
He has a passion and an extensive track record for start-ups and building successful businesses. During his career he has initiated, developed, financed and executed nine rig-owning companies and two firms within market data analysis and engineering services.
Jaro Aarseth
Jaro has over 20 years of experience from maritime and oil & gas sectors within offshore operations and has carried out numerous interventions and modifications of high calibre and newbuilds across the world. His passion lies in energy management and navigating the regulatory landscape to secure approvals and client agreements. His strength is the ability to bridge technical execution with strategic oversight to secure project delivery and stakeholder engagement.

Fernando is an experienced Contract, Sales, and Marketing Manager with an Industrial Engineering background and the ability to translate market challenges into commercial language across different regions. Excellent reputation for resolving problems and improving the Oil & Gas Industry’s needs.

Afrona Kodra
Strategic Commercial Director with 13+ years of experience driving revenue growth across IoT, SaaS, and consultancy sectors. Expert in transforming complex software solutions into scalable business excellence through rigorous pipeline management and high-stakes negotiation.
She believes that a successful business strategy is built much like a game of chess: it requires patience, a respect for the opponent’s position, and the discipline to think several steps ahead. With a clear focus on the "long game" - building sustainable commercial frameworks that protect margins and strengthen partner relationships.
Mathias Taksdal
Mathias is a driven and forward-thinking engineer with a Master’s degree in Electrical Energy Conversion from NTNU, where he graduated with top marks in 2023. His academic journey included an exchange year at the University of California, Berkeley, where he deepened his understanding of global energy systems and cutting-edge technologies.
With a strong passion for the energy transition, Mathias has focused his work on exploring innovative solutions for sustainable power generation and distribution. At Esgian, he is actively engaged in projects related to rig energy conversion and offshore power systems. His hands-on experience includes internships at both Esgian and Equinor, where he contributed to real-world energy initiatives and gained valuable industry insight.
Håkon Bye
Håkon holds a Master of Science in Energy and Environment, which he completed in 2019. He has maintained his passion for the maritime green energy transition throughout his career, starting with his thesis about battery and fuel cell-powered ferries. Håkon participated in a maritime trainee rotation at ABB, after which he became a Simulation Product Specialist for Batteries and Fuel Cells. He later advanced to the role of R&D Product Manager for Energy Storage. Håkon possesses key expertise in powerplant operation optimalisation and emission reduction technologies.
Stefan Dinu
Stefan is a highly skilled and versatile full stack developer with a strong foundation in software engineering and a proven track record across diverse industries and applications. With hands-on experience in both frontend and backend technologies, Stefan has contributed to innovativeand impactful projects, including Polar Quest—a program developed as part of NASA’sInternational Space Apps Challenge to support expeditions to the South Pole. Stefan combines technical excellence with a continuous drive for learning and innovation, making him a valuableasset to any development team.
Steffen Kørte
Steffen is an accomplished engineer with a Master of Science in Marine Cybernetics from NTNU and astrong track record in the maritime offshore industry. With deep expertise in control systems, he has ledthe development and management of advanced software solutions, with a particular focus on digitalizationand product management.
His work is driven by a commitment to enhancing operational reliability and efficiency in maritimeoperations. Steffen brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic insight, making him a keycontributor to innovation and performance improvement in complex offshore environments.
Are Hole
Are is a highly experienced offshore specialist with over 20 years of expertise in the development, commissioning, and troubleshooting of advanced drilling equipment and instrumentation. His deep technical knowledge and hands-on approach have been instrumental in ensuring the operational readiness and compliance of offshore rigs worldwide.
He has successfully led the commissioning and rectification of complex systems on both drillships and semi-submersibles, guiding multiple assets through Special Periodic Surveys (SPS) and playing a key role in securing approvals for drilling packages on newbuild projects. His ability to navigate technical challenges and regulatory requirements makes him a trusted contributor to high-stakes offshore operations
Mikhail Martemianov
Mikhail brings extensive expertise in software engineering, data analysis, and machine learning into the offshore energy domain. With a background spanning deep data mining, AI‑driven pattern recognition, and large‑scale industrial systems, he contributes strong technical depth in how complex operational and sensor data is collected, processed, and understood—complementing domain specialists with advanced capabilities in AI and modern software development.
